Winter Dash

On your mark, get set, race! Each year the Dawson High School Band Boosters hold Winter Dash. In it’s 7th year the event boasts a 1 mile fun run and a chip timed 5k. Proceeds from the race benefit the Dawson High School Eagle Band and Catalyst Color Guard. The race is held across the street from the Pearland Natatorium at Turner High School just prior to the start of Winterfest. Each race participant will receive a ticket to Winterfest. So strap on your running shoes for a good cause. You may pre-register online or Friday, January 27th at the Recreation Center and Natatorium from 2-6pm. You may also register the morning of the race.

Winterfest

We don’t get much snow in south Texas but you can be assured that once a year Pearland Parks gives young locals a chance to play and tube in the H-E-B Winterzone. The yearly event also hosts great food, games, live entertainment, a carnival, inflatables, rock climbing, petting zoo and a chance to see the inside of our first responders vehicles.
